The Scotland Auburn harness is the best-known pattern of the royal House of Stewart, which is also known as the Monarchs of Scotland and is the personal tartan of Queen Elizabeth II. The intricate design composed of red, yellow, blue, green and white are carefully weaved so that each thread in the warp crosses each thread in the weft at right angles creating a beautiful sett pattern of colours.
